Soul Portrait Commissions
Original symbolic portraiture by Lance Powell
What if the art on your wall could see you back?
These paintings are psychological mirrors built through story and symbol. They explore war and hope, ego and self, collapse and coherence. The Wolf, the Snake, the Fox, the Phoenix, and the birds are not fantasy. They are behavioral archetypes. Planes turn to clouds. Bombs fall like rain. Graves hold hearts that still bloom. Violence and regeneration share the same frame.
The palette is deliberate. Green as love. Red as survival. White as innocence. Black as bold action. Chakra color threads through cultural memory. Masculine and feminine forces meet eye to eye. The mask is a transformation. Rebellion becomes leadership. Destruction becomes transmutation.
These works are immersive, contemplative structures. They confront shadow, coherence, and responsibility. They do not decorate a room. They charge it.
Collectors do not choose these pieces casually. They recognize themselves inside them.

Radiant Son represents emergence. The moment an individual steps fully into their nature, no longer shaped by external expectation, but illuminated from within.
Each Soul Portrait reveals the deeper symbolic structure already present within you. Not the surface identity, but the underlying pattern that has always been there.
These works are perceived, translated, and brought into form through a private Soul Reading and creation process.
Created by Lance Powell, a visual storyteller and Art Director behind The Lord of the Rings, The Avengers, and Medal of Honor.
These portraits become permanent symbolic artifacts. They are created as singular works and exist only once, held privately by their collector.

Essence
Mona is a spiritual warrior. She sees injustice with exact clarity and refuses to look away. Her wolf rises from shadow, not in fear, but in certainty. The golden king cobra behind it marks the awakening of sovereignty, the moment a single, unified self emerges from the ruins of violence, distortion, and ego.
Story
The wolf’s black fur reflects the shadow realm she must cross; its white muzzle is the instinct that “sniffs out” truth. Behind it, the cobra rises from the ego’s back, signaling transformation at the level of identity. The red sky carries planes, bombs, and falling fragments, egoic force casting its illusion of power. But behind the red haze, blue sky begins to show, revealing that the violence is temporary.
The sun erupts across the land, fracturing into a broken ankh, the symbol of life split by the pursuit of gold. One piece becomes the wolf’s nose, the others its eyes. The masculine eye holds a broken sword; the feminine eye holds a crumbling rook. Both reveal how violence and greed separate men and women and weaken their shared power. Beneath the land lie tombs and artifacts, including nine symbols that anchor the painting’s key message: people awaken and forgive the cycles of life through strength, justice, patience, and alignment.
Meaning
We are living in an age of impunity, where ego casts its shadow over everything. But the illusion is short-lived. The red sky will fade. The sovereign will rise.
Each section contains an Akashic symbol. The symbols infuse meaning, history, and intention.

Essence
Joseph is a seeker in the truest sense. He is someone who refuses surface answers and is driven by a clear, steady pull toward truth, liberation, and inner alignment. His essence is loyal, curious, perceptive, and spiritually attuned. He knows there is a path forward and feels it pressing at the edge of his awareness. This painting reflects that certainty: he is already standing at the threshold of the transformation he’s been searching for.
Story
The fox reflects his natural character; the phoenix reflects the change rising within him. Blue and yellow strokes around the eyes reveal the limits around will and personal power he is learning to release. The masculine influence appears in the left eye; his daughter’s quiet, enduring support appears in the right. Seven marks at the base form the spine he must climb, centered by the compassion tree that guides his growth. The left ear is the cave; the right ear is the temple—enter, see clearly, burn away the old, and step out renewed. The cards on the left mark the material work. The cup on the right marks the spiritual renewal that follows when he frees himself.
Meaning
You are the doorway. Every symbol here is a passage you move through. The path ahead is already within you.

Essence
BombTrap is not subtle. It names the pattern directly: Man builds systems that consume the ground that sustains him. Expansion becomes extraction, progress becomes pressure. The painting holds a hard truth: destruction is behavioral. Yet even in collapse, light does not disappear. It overtakes the dark. This work asks for a wider lens. Not nature, then nurture — nature versus nurture. A conflict we keep replaying. It is dear to me because it refuses metaphor as comfort. It speaks plainly.
Story
The owl stands as the night watcher. It sees from above, detached but not indifferent. Observation becomes wisdom. Wisdom becomes responsibility. As we expand, they retreat. They are the canary in the coal mine. As they go, we go.
The eyes burn with the end of civilization. Trial by fire. Cities reduced to plume and ash. The owl sits just outside the blast, untouched in body, yet implicated in meaning. Its feathers fragment into individual lives. Each plume a person. The beak and facial structure form the explosion itself. The breaking point made visible.
This is not fantasy. It is a trajectory.
Meaning
See the pattern before the blast. Expand awareness before expansion becomes extinction. Light will engulf the dark, but only if we choose it

Watchers Over Perseverance

Essence
Isaac carries a deep wound from years of gaslighting, punishment, and emotional distortion. But instead of breaking, he endured. Music became the light that showed him the truth and soothed the damage. His perseverance is not effort—it is identity. This painting reads him with precision: a man who rebuilt himself through clarity, honesty, and the long, difficult work of finding his way back to himself.
Story
The owl at the top is the Watcher—the part of him that sees everything with sober, steady awareness. Beneath it is the Shadow Mask, the place where the pain lived. Above both is Perseverance, arms wrapping the eyes in prayer, legs braced across the shadow to hold it still.
Inside the left eye lives the white lion, his masculine strength, forward, grounded, and unwavering. Inside the right eye lives the fire tiger, his feminine force—burning illusion and clearing his path. Together, they guard the shadow and keep it from consuming him.
The pit below is the illusion, the place where fear wants to pull him. Its swirling blues form the forge where his old selves died and were remade. D.E.F.E. across the base marks the death-theme that illuminated his path through darkness. The owl’s feathers double as the stone tablets of limiting beliefs he must break. The arrows and looping marks around the eyes represent the upper and lower death drives, teaching him how to rise without being pulled back. At the center glows the eye of becoming, a reminder that real leadership isn’t performed; it is embodied.
Meaning
Persevere until you become your highest form. Strength is built through endurance, and others rise when you do.
Each section contains an Akashic symbol. The symbols infuse meaning, history, and intention.

Sudden Enlightenment
(of the Water Rat)
SOLD - $5000

Essence
Shannon was born a timid rebel. A water rat in a system built on control and compliance. Sensitive, observant, and never fully convinced by the rules she was handed. When her mother died, something activated. Not belief, sight. She began to see the structure beneath the world: domination disguised as order, obedience disguised as safety. The mouse is that awareness. Small in form, but precise. Sudden enlightenment here is not an escape. It is the moment illusion collapses and sovereignty stabilizes.
Story
The mouse stands centered, no longer flinching. One ear still holds the heat of old fear; the other opens like a wing. The left eye carries structure and pattern, the mind decoding the matrix. The right eye holds the void, nothing to reflect because the fantasy has burned away.
Above her head, a three-headed watcher marks higher awareness. Its teeth reveal how she wields power. On the left, a sword points down in the physical—non-combative. The same sword rises in the spiritual; knowledge must be protected. A halo crowns both, marking divine authority. On the right, a shield bearing an oak declares protection of the legacy.
Within the mouse, a gold dragon rises. The timid rebel has burned every feather of the phoenix. What remains is clarity. She returns to the well, knowing all is one—the soul a wrinkle in spacetime. The cycle breaks here.
Meaning
Enlightenment is seeing the structure and refusing to be owned by it. Illusion collapses. Sovereignty remains.
